42. The Adventures Of Baron Munchausen: 20th Anniversary Edition (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not quite a classic, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen offers pretty good entertainment. It suffers from a mix of problems but creates an interesting and amusing fable ... This release serves the film well and acts as a good upgrade over the prior “bare bones” disc. Starring John Neville, Eric Idle. Sony, $19.94, 4/8/2008.

43. Hook (Superbit) (1991)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Hook remains a film that I really wish I could love but I can only moderately like at best. It simply possesses too many flaws to become something that even remotely compares to Spielberg’s finest work. The DVD presents very strong picture and sound but totally omits any extras. Should fans who already own the prior DVD of Hook “upgrade” to the Superbit

44. Hamlet [Blu-Ray] (1996)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As much as I admire the ambition of this four-hour Hamlet, the end result does little for me. The movie suffers from some over the top performances – primarily our lead – and fails to become an accessible, engaging version of the tale. The Blu-ray boasts very good picture along with decent audio and supplements highlighted by an informative commentary. S

45. Night At The Museum: Special Edition (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Fans can buy Museum in two flavors: this two-disc Special Edition and a single DVD version. The latter offers this package’s first disc on its own. The SE retails for $5 more than the simpler set, and I think it’s worth it. If you don’t care about supplements, don’t bother, but if they interest you, drop a few extra bucks and enjoy all the nice materials

46. SCTV Network/90: Volume Four (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With 12 episodes, this is the best value yet of the four SCTV releases. I heartily recommended all of them, so I’ll do so again for Volume Four. Starring John Candy, Eugene Levy. Shout Factory, $89.98, 9/13/2005.

48. The Rutles 2: Can't Buy Me Lunch (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Rutles 2: Can’t Buy Me Lunch come across more like a vanity project meant to be seen by a few friends than something intended for the mass public. Lunch is little more than one long inside joke without much real cleverness. As demonstrated by the lackluster Spinal Tap reunions, it’s dangerous to try this kind of thing again. What worked once runs th
