11. Miss Congeniality: Deluxe Edition Giftset (2000)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Should fans pursue this Deluxe Edition of Miss Congeniality? If they don’t already own the prior DVD, then maybe. The DE offers everything in the prior package along with a few new disc-based extras and a CD soundtrack, but it sells for a high list price of almost $40. That might be worth it if you want the CD, but otherwise it’s too steep, especially si

12. Star Trek V: The Undiscovered Country [Blu-Ray] (1991)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Arguably the best Star Trek flick, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country has lost a little luster over the last 30 or so years. Nonetheless, most of it works nicely, and it remains one of the most exciting and fun of the movies. Starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy. Paramount, $9.99, 7/1/2014.

13. Star Trek: Generations (Special Edition) (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Ultimately, I continue to find Star Trek: Generations to be a very entertaining, exciting and thought-provoking film. Clearly it's not everyone's cup of tea, and its treatment of its characters seems to be a major bone of contention with many fans. Despite that issue and some consistency problems, it works very well as a film and makes for a movie that I

15. Star Trek: Fan Collective - Captain's Log (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While prior Star Trek “Fan Collective” compilations focused on specific guest characters, races or themes, Captain’s Log lacks the same coherence. Nonetheless, I like the way it spans all five series and digs into the efforts of all the captains. It certainly offers a solid roster of shows, as most of them stand amount the best Trek. 17. Escape From Planet Earth [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you want great animated entertainment, you won’t find it with Escape from Planet Earth. However, you will find a reasonably likable and amusing little action comedy and you could do much worse. The Blu-ray boasts excellent visuals and audio along with a decent set of supplements led by a good commentary. While not a classic, Escape offers a fun time.

20. Star Trek: The Original Series - Season One [HD-DVD] (1966)
"Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Are (these) visual improvements worth an upgrade for those who do own the old package? Probably not, especially if you only have SD-DVD capabilities and don’t plan for that to change soon – or ever. I do think the new set looks better, but the old episodes were acceptably attractive, and this release costs too much for me to advocate a re-purchase given
