11. Star Trek: Fan Collective - Captain's Log (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While prior Star Trek “Fan Collective” compilations focused on specific guest characters, races or themes, Captain’s Log lacks the same coherence. Nonetheless, I like the way it spans all five series and digs into the efforts of all the captains. It certainly offers a solid roster of shows, as most of them stand amount the best Trek. Starring William Sha

13. Star Trek: The Original Series - Season One [HD-DVD] (1966)
"Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Are (these) visual improvements worth an upgrade for those who do own the old package? Probably not, especially if you only have SD-DVD capabilities and don’t plan for that to change soon – or ever. I do think the new set looks better, but the old episodes were acceptably attractive, and this release costs too much for me to advocate a re-purchase given

14. Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan - Director's Cut [Blu-Ray] (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Arguably the best film in the series, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan continues to work 34 years after its theatrical release. The movie combines action, intelligence and drama into one compelling package that make it a winner. Starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy. Paramount, $22.98, 6/7/2016.

15. Star Trek: The Original Series - Season One (1966)
"Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Original Series remains my favorite of the Trek programs, and I definitely recommend this Season One package of the show. With a list price of $130, the set doesn’t come cheap, though compared with the $300 it would have cost to get the 29 episodes on the old two-show DVDs, it seems like a bargain. Starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy. Paramount.

16. Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (Original Motion Picture Collection) [Blu-Ray] (1991)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Arguably the best Star Trek flick, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country has lost a little luster over the last 17 or so years. Nonetheless, most of it works nicely, and it remains one of the most exciting and fun of the series’ movies. The Blu-ray provides strong picture and sound as well as a long list of good extras. The Blu-ray isn’t flawless, but i
