Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Many have imitated Die Hard, but none have matched it. 24 years after it wowed theatrical audiences, it remains one of the best action films ever made, and it stands as a seminal experience in moviemaking. To say that it’s a lot of fun would be a gross understatement, as action movies simply don’t get much better than this. This disc provides erratic but

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: An unusually bloody and gloomy musical, Sweeney Todd doesn’t offer a cheerful night at the movies. That restricts its potential audience but also makes it more accessible to some folks who don’t care for the usual pap. The film adaptation of the production creates a dark and involving piece ... 17. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: Ultimate Edition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As for the DVD, both picture and sound quality seemed very solid. Neither reached demonstration level, but both satisfied nicely. Supplements offered a decent mix of interesting elements. I suspect that most fans will be happy with the prior DVD of Chamber, but Potter die-hards will want to snag the “Ultimate Edition”. At $39.92, it’s not horribly pricey

20. Lee Daniels' The Butler [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Well-intended but erratic, Lee Daniels’ The Butler turns into an awkward history lesson. At its core, it boasts a potentially fascinating tale, but it veers too much from reality and ends up as little more than a “greatest hits” reel of political events from the 1950s to 1970s. The Blu-ray offers solid picture and audio along with a handful of decent bon
