- 31. A View To A Kill: Ultimate Edition (1985)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: How about those aficionados who already own the original Gun DVD – should they snag the “Ultimate Edition”? I’d recommend it, but not intensely. The UE offers improved visuals plus a smattering of useful new extras. It’s a decent upgrade but not one of the series’ “slam dunk” improvements. Starring Roger Moore, Christopher Walken. MGM, $89.98, 11/7/2006.

- 34. Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Story of the National Lampoon [Blu-Ray] (2015)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a look at an iconic comedic institution, Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Story of the National Lampoon satisfies. Of course, it needs to rush through a lot of topics, but it still delivers a compelling take on the subject matter. Starring Henry Beard, Matty Simmons. Magnolia, $29.97, 4/19/2016.

- 35. Scary Movie 2 [Blu-Ray] (2001)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not as terrible as its predecessor, Scary Movie 2 still left a lot to be desired. Its performers offered some decent work at times, but the film itself was largely a compendium of uninspired toilet humor. The Blu-ray offers pretty good audio and supplements but the visuals seem bland and mediocre. This is a passable Blu-ray for a pretty bad movie.

- 36. End Of The Century: The Story Of The Ramones (2003)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In general, End of the Century tells the Ramones’ story in a blunt and consistently entertaining manner. It moves through most of the material we’d like to hear and always maintains a tone of frankness. End adds up to a simply terrific look at the Ramones. Starring The Ramones. WEA, $19.99, 3/15/2005.

-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I can’t say that I felt surprised that I didn’t think much of Cold Mountain, since I didn’t care for the same director’s The English Patient. Since I did enjoy his Talented Mr. Ripley, I figured all wasn’t lost, but Mountain is much closer in spirit and story to Patient, which means it also seems fairly sappy and inane. The Blu-ray offers very good pictu

- 38. Top Gun [Blu-Ray] (1986)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A serious piece of Eighties cheese, Top Gun didn’t hold up well after 18 years. Granted, I wasn’t wild about it at the time, but almost 20 years later, it looked even sillier than I recalled. The Blu-ray presents excellent audio and supplements but picture quality disappoints. This is probably the best home video version of Top Gun, but it doesn’t become
