31. Angel Has Fallen [Blu-Ray] (2019)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Three films into the franchise and Angel Has Fallen delivers the same braindead action found in the first two. Despite a strong cast and potential thrills, the movie seems too stupid to entertain. Starring Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman. Lionsgate, $39.99, 11/26/2019.

33. Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although I kind of liked the original movie, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed almost totally falls flat. The film comes across as uninspired and tired, and it fails to capitalize on the prior flick’s positives. Starring Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar. Warner, $27.95, 9/14/2004.

34. Flyboys: Collector's Edition (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I can’t recommend the movie, and I find it tough to advise fans of Flyboys to pick up this “Collector’s Edition”. It adds some decent supplements not found on the single-disc edition. However, I don’t think these are good enough to warrant the price, as the CE costs $10 more than the one-DVD version. It’s a good package but not worth the $40 list price.

35. Cheaper By The Dozen: Baker's Dozen Edition (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you already know you like the movie and wonder if this package merits an “upgrade”, I’d say no. Some of the new supplements are just fine, but there’s not enough of them to warrant an additional purchase. If you don’t have the old disc and want to own Cheaper, I’d definitely recommend this “Baker’s Dozen Edition”, as it’s definitely the superior of th

36. The Bourne Identity: Explosive Extended Edition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When it showed theatrically in 2002, The Bourne Identity did little to entice me, which is why I didn’t see it until two years later. I’m glad I finally did, as the movie presents an intriguing and well-made variation on the standard spy flick. Starring Matt Damon, Franka Potente. Universal, $29.98, 7/13/2004.

37. Watchmen: Director's Cut (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Ambitious and epic, Watchmen doesn’t always fire on all cylinders. However, it more completely captures the spirit and scope of the source comic than one could realistically expect, and it turns into an engaging movie. The DVD provides terrific audio, but picture quality is mediocre at best, and the package comes with average supplements. I think the fli

38. Lincoln [Blu-Ray] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With Lincoln, we find a sporadically effective historical drama. I like the film’s emphasis on a narrow time frame, and its lead actor greatly adds to its success. However, it comes with a few more distractions/misfires than I’d like; those keep it from greatness. The Blu-ray boasts excellent picture quality and very good audio but delivers mediocre bonu

39. Glengarry Glen Ross: 10th Anniversary Special Edition (1992)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I can’t say the movie bowled me over, it provided a crisp and crackling piece of work buoyed by a slew of excellent performances.

40. Eight Crazy Nights: Special Edition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Anyone who hopes for a fun Chanukah film won’t find what they want from Adam Sandler’s Eight Crazy Nights. A generally gross, unfunny and charmless flick, the movie suffers from all of Sandler’s negatives and almost none of his positives. Starring Adam Sandler. Columbia, $26.95, 11/4/2003.
