21. Machete (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Machete came from unusual origins and occasionally offers over the top action fun. However, it also tends to be heavy-handed in its political content and it runs too long, factors that harm its overall effectiveness. The DVD provides generally good picture, excellent audio and a smattering of minor supplements. This isn’t a bad flick, but it’s not consis

22. Christmas With The Kranks (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If Santa offered me a choice between Christmas with the Kranks or a lump of coal, I’ll take the latter. Kranks completely wastes any potential it possessed and becomes nothing more than an awkward mix of slapstick and schmaltz. Starring Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis. Columbia TriStar, $28.95, 11/8/2005.

23. Beverly Hills Chihuahua (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With a broad collection of adorable pups, Beverly Hills Chihuahua occasionally delights the dog-lover in me. However, even as sweet as these pooches are, they’re not enough to make this flick anything more than mediocre family entertainment ... Hills doesn’t become a painful viewing experience, but it lacks much to make it memorable. Starring Drew Barrym

24. Cars (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Pixar continues their incredible winning streak with the delightful Cars. Thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable, this one turns out to be a consistent joy. Starring Owen Wilson, Paul Newman. Disney, $29.99, 11/7/2006.

25. Hoodwinked Too: Hood Vs Evil [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Because I regarded its predecessor as a pleasant surprise, I felt disappointed with the lackluster Hoodwinked Too! Hood Vs. Evil. While not the disaster reviews make it seem to be, the movie suffers from a pointlessly frenetic pace and too many recycled jokes. The Blu-ray offers nearly great picture and mostly satisfying audio but lacks substantial suppl

26. Oliver & Company [Blu-Ray] (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I can’t assert that Oliver & Company is the worst animated film ever produced by Disney, I think it falls close to that mark. The movie seems excessively bland and lifeless, as it fails to ever become engaging or winning. Starring Joey Lawrence, Billy Joel. Disney, $9.99, 8/6/2013.

28. El Mariachi: Special Edition (1992)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Shot for about half the price of a Civic, El Mariachi rarely totally overcomes its budgetary restraints. However, the movie usually surpasses expectations and actually allows us to forget its amateurish roots. It seems lively and exciting and remains much more entertaining than most blockbusters. Directed by Robert Rodriquez. Columbia, $19.95, 8/26/2003.

29. Oliver & Company: 20th Anniversary Edition (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you choose to pursue the movie, the 20th Anniversary release is the strongest version of it on the market. In terms of audio and extras, it’s a lot like the 2002 disc, but the 2009 release provides moderately improved picture. It’s not a huge difference, though, so I wouldn’t endorse a repurchase for fans who already have the original disc. Starring J

30. Oliver & Company (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I can’t assert that Oliver & Company is the worst animated film ever produced by Disney, I think it falls close to that mark. The movie seems excessively bland and lifeless, as it fails to ever become engaging or winning. The DVD offers a mediocre transfer but it provides pretty solid sound. In addition, it includes a roster of fairly superficial e
