151. Battle For Terra [Blu-Ray] (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a sci-fi action flick, Battle for Terra had potential to excite and delight. Unfortunately, it simply bores. It combines dull characters, a flat story and weak animation to become a thoroughly uninspiring film. The Blu-ray gives us very good picture and audio along with a collection of supplements highlighted by an interesting commentary. While I can’

152. Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Mr. & Mrs. Smith threatened to become submerged under all the tabloid escapades associated with it, but the movie still holds up fine on its own. It balances action and romantic comedy in a deft manner to become a light and enjoyable piece of work. Starring Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie. Fox, $29.98, 11/29/2005.

153. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind [Blu-Ray] (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A pleasant surprise, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind looks trite at the start but it soon blossoms into something creative and involving. The movie doesn’t take too many predictable paths as it follows an unusual route to communicate the complications of relationships. The Blu-ray offers fairly good picture and audio plus a set of supplements that

154. Brokeback Mountain: Collector's Edition (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: ... if you do already have the original disc, I can see no reason to bother with this CE. The new extras are very insubstantial, and the addition of the DTS audio presents no improvements over the existing Dolby Digital mix. This isn’t a “Collector’s Edition” that should inspire excitement in fans. Starring Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal. Focus, $26.98, 1

155. Scary Movie 2 [Blu-Ray] (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not as terrible as its predecessor, Scary Movie 2 still left a lot to be desired. Its performers offered some decent work at times, but the film itself was largely a compendium of uninspired toilet humor. The Blu-ray offers pretty good audio and supplements but the visuals seem bland and mediocre. This is a passable Blu-ray for a pretty bad movie.

156. The Lego Movie [Blu-Ray] (2014)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While it brings us a moderately enjoyable action-comedy, I don’t think The Lego Movie turns into anything special. It keeps us occupied but lacks the wit and spark I expected. Starring Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks. Warner, $14.99, 6/17/2014.

157. Ben-Hur (1959)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: More than 40 years after its initial release, Ben-Hur remains the definition of a screen epic. As a film, it still has a lot to offer - particularly in the excellent chariot race sequence - but some other elements haven’t aged quite as well. Starring Charlton Heston, Jack Hawkins. Warner, $24.98, 3/13/2001.

158. Ronin: Collector's Edition (1998)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Twice I’ve watched Ronin and twice I’ve wanted and expected to like it. Twice I’ve felt only moderately involved by it. The film includes many solid parts but they never coalesce to form a rich whole. Starring Robert De Niro, Jean Reno. MGM, $24.96, 5/9/2006.

159. Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Pee-wee's Big Adventure is unquestionably one of my top ten films of all-time, and it's arguably the funniest movie ever made. The picture is just as entertaining now as it was 26 years ago, and I don't think that will ever change. The DVD provides mediocre visuals but includes good audio and supplements. The problems with picture quality make this a les

160. Caddyshack [Blu-Ray] (1980)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 30 years, Caddyshack has a reputation as a legend that I’m not sure it deserves. It’s an erratic and clumsy affair that occasionally works due to the stellar talents featured in its cast, but it also falters a lot of the time. The Blu-ray offers surprisingly solid picture and audio; supplements don’t dazzle, but they add some good value to the set
