51. Daughters of Darkness [4K UHD] (1971)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though Daughters of Darkness promises erotic horror, it succeeds in neither realm. Instead, it becomes a slow, uneventful vampire tale with little to make it interesting. Starring Delphine Seyrig, John Karlen. Blue Underground, $59.95, 10/27/2020.

52. The Last Temptation Of Christ: Criterion Collection [Blu-Ray] (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Last Temptation Of Christ itself certainly has flaws, but it remains a courageous and compelling look at the most famous man in history. (No, I don't mean Mr. T.) The Blu-ray itself presents strong picture and audio as well as supplements highlighted by a fascinating audio commentary. While the absence of some of the prior DVD’s extras disappoints, t

53. Year One [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One of summer 2009’s biggest busts, I’d like to report that Year One offers a neglected gem. Unfortunately, it wastes a lot of talent and provides precious few laughs. The Blu-ray provides excellent visuals as well as acceptably good audio and supplements. I have no complaints about this release, but the movie itself is an unfunny mess. Starring Jack Bla

54. Homicide: Life on the Street: The Complete Season 1 & 2 (1993)
Reviewed by David Williams: One of those rare occasions where I can absolutely recommend a series and its corresponding DVD boxed set sight unseen.

55. Friends: The Complete Sixth Season (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: By the series’ sixth season, Friends was a well-oiled machine, and the show achieved a high level of consistency. We see that in this set, where we can watch many good programs and only a few moderate disappointments; unlike some earlier seasons, virtually none of them offer true duds. Warner, $44.98, 1/27/2003.

56. Friends: The Complete Second Season
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: We’ll have to wait for the show’s absolute best material, but Season Two nonetheless offers a lot of funny and entertaining programming.

57. Starsky & Hutch [Blu-Ray] (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Given the overabundance of bad movies adapted from TV shows, I didn’t expect much from Starsky & Hutch. However, the film offered a refreshingly charming and amusing affair that consistently entertains. Starring Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson. Warner, $21.99, 2/12/2019.

58. Training Day [4K UHD] (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: More than 20 years after its release, Training Day remains remembered due to the Oscar-winning lead performance from Denzel Washington. I cannot find much else to keep the film in the public consciousness, as it mostly feels like a fairly generic rogue cop tale. Starring Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke. Warner, $33.98, 2/28/2023.

59. Girls Against Boys [Blu-Ray] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Much of Girls Against Boys works pretty well, as its first two acts provide a generally creepy and effective revenge tale. Unfortunately, its final third meanders, and a lackluster performance from its lead doesn’t help. The Blu-ray brings us good picture and audio along with a forgettable commentary. Nothing about the Blu-ray dazzles, and the movie rema
