41. Scarface: Gold Edition [Blu-Ray] (1983)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Every decade or so, I give 1983’s Scarface a look to see if I can figure out its continued appeal to a pretty big cult audience. As of 2019 – nope! The movie continues to seem bloated and absurd too much of the time. Starring Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer. Universal, $19.99, 10/15/2019.

42. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 [4K UHD] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As much as I hoped Mockingjay Part 2 would end the Hunger Games series with a bang, the film instead delivers the proverbial whimper. A few sequences threaten to show signs of life, but most of the movie seems flat and uninspired. Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Donald Sutherland. Lionsgate, $22.99, 11/8/2016.

43. All The President's Men: Special Edition [Blu-Ray] (1976)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Understated but still dynamic, All the President’s Men holds up well after three decades. The movie benefits from its subtle tone and focuses on the story instead of melodrama or silliness. The Blu-ray offers relatively good picture, acceptable audio and some informative supplements. This is a solid version of the film, though it doesn’t add much for fan

44. Swept Away (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As it stands, the movie doesn’t quite fall to the train wreck depths many believe, but Swept Away remains a bizarre failure nonetheless.

45. The 40-Year-Old Virgin: Unrated (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: So despite a mix of flaws, The 40-Year-Old Virgin gets a thumb’s up simply because it’s awfully funny. The movie lags at times and needs to lose a good half an hour. Still, too long and hilarious beats the hell out of quick-paced and lame. Starring Steve Carell, Catherine Keener. Universal, $29.98, 12/13/2005.

47. Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle [Blu-Ray] (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After a surprisingly lively and amusing original, I had high hopes for Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. Unfortunately, the flick provides only sporadic entertainment at best, as its charms become overwhelmed with bombast and flash. Starring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu. Sony, $14.99, 10/22/2019.

48. Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Some will argue that Spider-Man 2 outdoes its predecessor. I loved the first movie too much to agree, but I also can’t find too much fault with those thoughts, as the sequel works awfully well. It presents a lively, vivid, funny, dramatic and touching experience that continues the series brilliantly. Starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst. Columbia TriSta
