11. Bringing Down The House (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While it was nice to see Steve Martin ride high on the box office charts again, I wish this occurred via a more entertaining vehicle. Bringing Down the House seems crass and unfunny, and its cast of solid performers can’t help escalate the predictable and uninspired material. Starring Steve Martin, Queen Latifah. Buena Vista, $29.99, 8/5/2003.

13. SCTV: Best Of The Early Years (1978-1980)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I’m sure SCTV aficionados will be satisfied with Early Years. Yeah, I/we would prefer full season sets ala the Network/90 packages, but I/we also realize that financial realities may not make that practical. There's a lot to like about Early Years, as it presents plenty of prime SCTV. Starring John Candy, Eugene Levy. Shout Factory, $39.98, 10/24/2006.

14. SCTV Network/90: Volume Two (1978)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When I reviewed Volume One of SCTV, I related my strong affection for the show, and that hasn’t changed over the last few months. Volume Two continues to fun and indeed likely improves over the earlier release. The series achieves a bit more consistency with this compilation and offers a great deal of terrific material. Starring John Candy, Eugene Levy.

15. Club Paradise (1986)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although Club Paradise sputters and flares out on more than a few occasions, its terrific cast provides more than enough good comedy to make it work. You’ll find yourself somewhat bored during the first and third acts, but the middle section is so terrific that it easily compensates for the problems. Starring Robin Williams, Peter O'Toole. Warner, $14.98

16. American Pie Presents The Naked Mile: Unrated (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For the fifth installation in the American Pie series, we get a real stinker. The Naked Mile suffers from a surfeit of flaws and very few positives ... Unless you’re absolutely obsessed with the world of American Pie, skip this dreadful film. Starring Eugene Levy, Steve Talley. Universal, $26.98, 12/19/2006.

17. American Reunion [Blu-Ray] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 13 years and a mix of bad sequels – theatrical and direct-to-video alike – I hoped that American Reunion might bring the series back to its comedic roots. However, it lacks the spark to make it enjoyable; while it’s nice to see all the old characters again, the movie does little with them to amuse and entertain. The Blu-ray provides reasonably good

19. Splash: 20th Anniversary Edition (1984)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Splash doesn’t come across as a classic, but it offers a modestly enjoyable piece of work. The movie presents charm and sweetness that makes it a nice way to pass time and seems like a pretty good date flick. Starring Tom Hanks, Daryl Hannah. Buena Vista, $29.99, 3/23/2004.

20. SCTV Network/90: Christmas With SCTV (1981/1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Christmas with SCTV bats .500. One of the episodes is terrific, while the other seems lackluster. Still, there’s a lot of laughs to go around, as mediocre SCTV is still better than most other comedy. Starring John Candy, Eugene Levy. Shout Factory, $14.98, 10/4/2005.
