21. Lady And The Tramp [Blu-Ray] (1955)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Lady and the Tramp remains a classic, one that belongs in everyone's collection. It’s a wonderful and warm film that still holds up awfully well after more than 50 years. The Blu-ray provides terrific picture and solid audio along with a strong selection of supplements. Lady is a real winner, and this Blu-ray becomes its strongest release. Starring Barba

22. Date Movie: Unrated (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If I’ve seen a dumber or less entertaining flick than Date Movie, I can’t recall it. Perhaps that’s because this atrocity assaulted my brain cells and actively made me lose IQ points with increased exposure to it. Mean-spirited, idiotic and witless, it offers not a single moment of entertainment. Starring Alyson Hannigan, Adam Campbell. Fox, $29.98, 5/30

23. Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgandy [Blu-Ray] (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A spotty and inconsistent comedy, Anchorman presents a decent number of laughs. The flick never quite connects, though, as it’s too up and down to keep us truly entertained much of the time. The Blu-ray presents decent picture and audio as well as a few nice extras. Although I lack enthusiasm for the flick, I’d recommend it to fans of Will Ferrell and hi

24. American Graffiti [Blu-Ray] (1973)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though I think American Graffiti sags at times, it still offers an entertaining piece of work. The film provides a warm and nostalgic look at teen life but doesn’t become sappy or condescending. The Blu-ray boasts a small but strong collection of supplements, but picture seems overly processed, and the audio appears lackluster, though the latter suffers

25. American Graffiti: Collector's Edition (1973)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though I think American Graffiti sags at times, it still offers an entertaining piece of work. The film provides a warm and nostalgic look at teen life but doesn’t become sappy or condescending ... I like the movie but the DVD disappoints. Starring Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard. Universal, $19.98, 9/15/1998.

26. Salem's Lot [Blu-Ray] (1979)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though it comes with ups and downs, much of Salem’s Lot works well. The movie overcomes drawbacks of its 1970s TV movie origins to deliver a moderately involving and creepy horror effort. Starring David Soul, James Mason. Warner, $14.97, 9/20/2016.

27. For Your Consideration (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you expect For Your Consideration to be another straight “mockumentary” ala Waiting for Guffman or Best in Show, you’ll come away with disappointment – I know that’s how I felt when I first saw it. However, a second screening better revealed the movie’s charms and allowed me to appreciate its high quality. Starring Christopher Guest, Eugene Levy. Warn

28. Youth In Revolt [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Michael Cera tries to expand his dramatic range – and pretty much fails – in the quirky Youth in Revolt. In truth, this isn’t an awful film, but it bores much more than it entertains. The Blu-ray provides very good picture, perfectly adequate audio, and a decent little collection of supplements. I feel pleased with the Blu-ray, but the movie doesn’t do m

29. Chicken Little (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you want to see a perfect example of a perfectly average animated film, look no farther than 2005’s Chicken Little. Formulaic and moderately entertaining, it maintains the viewer’s interest to a decent degree but it never threatens to truly enchant or delight. Starring Zach Braff, Garry Marshall. Disney, $29.99, 3/21/2006.

30. Monster House (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although I have some misgivings about the movie’s style of animation, Monster House entertains enough to make up for those concerns. A good mix of action, comedy and horror, the film presents something different and fun ... This is a nearly ideal Halloween flick for the family, so it earns my recommendation. Starring Mitchel Musso, Sam Lerner. Sony, $28.
