111. 'Twas The Night Before Christmas: Deluxe Edition (1974)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I like Night, but I can’t recommend this flawed release. If you want to own the show, either dig up a used copy of the out-of-print Classic Christmas Favorites or grab the still-in-print Frosty’s Winter Wonderland. The latter sells for less than $10 and is a much better deal than this disc. Even if Night looked/sounded good here, $20 for one 24-minute s

113. LA Story (1991)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With LA Story, Steve Martin attempts a mix of satire and romantic comedy. None of this succeeds, as the film becomes little more than a series of cheap gags and annoying characters. Starring Steve Martin, Victoria Tennant. Lionsgate, $9.98, 6/13/2006.

114. Swing Time (1936)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A light, charming musical, Swing Time floats to us on the backs of its stars. Without them it’d flop, but with Astaire and Rogers, it turns into a consistent delight ... The quality of this release won’t dazzle anyone, but the movie itself remains a winner. Starring Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers. Warner, $19.98, 8/26/2005.

115. 65 [Blu-Ray] (2023)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One would expect a movie that pits an astronaut versus dinosaurs to offer a lively thrill ride. In the case of 65, one would anticipate incorrectly, as the movie largely becomes a slow and not especially compelling journey. Starring Adam Driver, Ariana Greenblatt. Sony, $38.99, 5/30/2023.

116. Dawn Of The Dead [Blu-Ray] (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Not too many remakes better their inspirations, but the 2004 Dawn of the Dead indeed provides a more satisfying flick than its predecessor. Tight and exciting, it melds the horror and action genres to turn into a lively piece. Starring Sarah Polley, Ving Rhames. Universal, $14.98, 9/30/2008.

117. Airport 1975 (1974)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Airport 1975 goes down as the best of the series, though that doesn’t say a whole lot. Despite rampant campiness and stupidity, the movie manages enough silly energy to remain entertaining. Starring Charlton Heston, Karen Black. Universal, $19.98, 2/10/2004.

118. The Other Boleyn Girl (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although I expected a sappy chick flick, The Other Boleyn Girl instead provided a crisp and dark view of 16th century society. Bolstered by some fine performances, the movie keeps us interested and entertained ... Though this isn’t a great DVD, I like the movie, and the disc supports it well enough to earn my recommendation. Starring Natalie Portman, Sca

119. Four Christmases (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If anyone could tell me how a film that features Vince Vaughn and five – that’s right, five - Oscar-winning actors could be as awful as Four Christmases, I’d love to hear the explanation. Despite an interesting concept and all that talent, the movie adds up to little more than a collection of violent/gross gags with some phony relationship drama tacked o

120. Ed Wood [Blu-Ray] (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For years, I believed Ed Wood was one of Tim Burton’s lesser works. I was wrong, as the movie turns out to be genuinely terrific. Sweet, funny, quirky and moving, it’s an excellent piece of work. The Blu-ray presents solid picture and audio along with a nice set of supplements. The Blu-ray does justice to a fine film. Starring Johnny Depp, Martin Landau.
