23. Out Of Africa: Collector's Edition (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I can't whole-heartedly recommend Out Of Africa, I can't really steer you away from it either. No, the film didn't do a lot for me, but I can understand why a lot of others like it and why it's been so successful ... For those who enjoy this kind of film, Out Of Africa should make a nice addition to your collection. Others who are iffier toward the

24. The Bridges Of Madison County: Deluxe Edition (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When I see a flick as boring as The Bridges of Madison County, I’m tempted to read the source novel. The book was such a huge success that I find it tough to imagine how it could produce a movie with so little to intrigue us ... Overall, this is a decent release for a weak movie. Starring Clint Eastwood, Meryl Streep. Warner, $19.97, 5/6/2008.

25. Mamma Mia!: Special Edition (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite a pretty good cast and a roster of solid pop tunes, Mamma Mia! thoroughly flops as a movie. Granted, it might flop as a stage production as well; I never saw it so I can’t say. I do know that the film production suffers from a myriad of problems and comes with exceedingly few strengths to balance out those weaknesses. The DVD provides fairly good

27. It's Complicated [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With three talented stars as its leads, I thought It’s Complicated would’ve been at least partially entertaining. Unfortunately, the film suffers from thin characters and story, and those actors fail to elevate the material. The Blu-ray offers very good picture, decent audio, and a small set of supplements highlighted by a generally interesting commentar

28. Rendition (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If it focused more on characters and plot and less on political commentary, Rendition might’ve become more potent. As it stands, the movie has some moments but tends to veer into territory that makes it more like an editorial than a real story ... I can’t complain about this fine release, but the film itself doesn’t prosper enough for my recommendation.

29. Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events: Collector's Edition (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I don’t think Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events consistently fires on all cylinders, as some awkward episodic plotting and too much focus on guest actors makes it a bit jerky at times. However, a strong lead performance from Jim Carrey and a delightful cynical tone mean that it usually entertains. Starring Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep. Paramoun

30. Adaptation: Superbit (2002)
Reviewed by David Williams: Adaptation is a brilliant exercise that challenges the boring and bland conventions of Hollywood filmmaking and it managed to be an enjoyable romp in the process.
