151. I Am Legend: Ultimate Collector's Edition (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you don’t already own the original I Am Legend DVD and you like supplements, give this “Ultimate Collector’s Edition” a look. It’s not radically more expensive than its predecessor, and it adds many nice new components. I find it more difficult to recommend the UCE for fans who do possess the prior release. While I like the extras, they’re not worth a

152. Eight Men Out: 20th Anniversary Edition (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Perhaps the best baseball film ever made, Eight Men Out tells a bittersweet tale of talented players who blow it all and pay the price, and it does so in a straightforward but moving manner ... This is a terrific set that I heartily recommend, and that goes for fans who own the old release as well; it offers a big improvement when compared to that disc.

153. The Other Guys [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although it provides mild entertainment, The Other Guys winds up as a disappointment. Despite a lot of talent involved and some scenarios that seem ripe to delight, it falls flat too much of the time and simply lacks the expected wit. The Blu-ray provides excellent picture and audio along with a wide but inconsistent set of supplements. Maybe other fans

154. The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou: Criterion Collection (2-Disc Special Edition) (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou falls into the category of quiet, unassuming movies. Sure, it goes for an action bent at times, but it doesn’t overshoot its boundaries as it remains mostly soft and quirky. It takes a while to get going, but by its conclusion you realize you’ve seen something very good. Starring Bill Murray, Owen Wilson. Criterion, $32

156. Heroes: Season 1 [Blu-Ray] (2006-07)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Heroes gives us a comic book tale that emphasizes character in addition to intrigue, and it balances the elements well. I can quibble about some choices and episodes, but Season One usually works very well. Starring Hayden Panettiere, Masi Oka. Universal, $29.98. 8/26/2008.

157. Heroes: Season One (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Heroes almost makes me wish I watched more broadcast TV. The series gives us a comic book tale that emphasizes character in addition to intrigue, and it balances the elements well. I can quibble about some choices and episodes, but Heroes usually works very well. The DVD offers excellent visuals along with pretty positive audio and extras. I like the ser

158. Seinfeld: Season 9 (1998)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Season Nine of Seinfeld maintains a reputation as the series’ worst. I wish I could report otherwise, but I must agree with that assessment. Though the season still offers lots of good material – and bad Seinfeld is still better than 99 percent of other TV comedy – it’s definitely the series’ low point ... This may be the weakest Seinfeld package, but it

160. Fatal Attraction (Paramount Presents Edition) [Blu-Ray] (1987)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Back in 1987, Fatal Attraction became a major critical and commercial hit. Today it seems like a relic, misogynistic and out of whack with reality. Starring Michael Douglas, Glenn Close. Paramount, $29.98, 4/21/2020.
