- 11. Prince: Under The Cherry Moon [Blu-Ray] (1986)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Under the Cherry Moon offers nothing more than a misbegotten vanity project. It soothes the raging ego that was Prince in the mid-Eighties and fails to entertain, amuse or move. Starring Prince, Kristin Scott Thomas. Warner, $14.98, 10/4/2016.

- 12. Prince Of The City: Special Edition (1981)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I wanted to like Prince of the City but found a flick that disappointed. Too long, too slow and too disjointed, it takes a promising premise and squanders it. The DVD provides mediocre picture and audio. I like the set’s featurette, but since that’s the only supplement, that side of things doesn’t satisfy. I can’t recommend Prince as either a film or as

- 13. Purple Rain: 20th Anniversary Special Edition (1984)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A career-making success, Purple Rain seemed great in 1984 but now comes across as dated and fairly silly. The performance scenes still rock, and a few glimmers of good moments appear due to the banter of Morris Day and Jerome Benton, but otherwise the flick’s something of an amateurish mess. Starring Prince, Morris Day. Warner, $26.99, 8/24/2004.

- 14. Graffiti Bridge [Blu-Ray] (1990)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Graffiti Bridge enjoys an underrated soundtrack; it’s not as good as the music from Purple Rain, but it presents a lot of solid songs. Otherwise, the film is a complete disaster. Starring Prince, Morris Day. Warner, $14.97, 10/4/2016.

- 19. The Ten Commandments: Special Collector's Edition (1956)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Fans of the movie should be very pleased with this DVD, but if you’re new to it and just want an interesting Biblical effort, I’d recommend The Prince Of Egypt instead; that animated flick provides a much more compelling and moving look at the life of Moses. As for fans who already own the prior DVD, whether it merits an upgrade depends on their apprecia

- 20. Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time [Blu-Ray] (2010)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Intended to launch a new franchise, instead Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time sputtered at the box office. I suspect much of this stemmed from the movie’s inherent mediocrity. While it was never a true dud, it also failed to do much to make itself dynamic or engaging. The Blu-ray offers very good picture and audio along with a nice interactive feature
