- 33. Eragon [Blu-Ray] (2006)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you feel like you’ve seen Eragon before, that’s because it borrows so liberally from other superior offerings. The movie takes fistfuls of elements found in better flicks and renders them impotent in this generic, dumbed-down fantasy tale. Starring Edward Speleers, Jeremy Irons. Fox, $9.98, 3/20/2007.

- 36. The Mummy: Universal Legacy Series (1932)

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not without its merits, I can’t say that 1932’s The Mummy does much for me. I like Boris Karloff’s chilling lead performance and a few other elements, but the movie progresses slowly and doesn’t add up to much ... It’s not my favorite horror flick, but it’s a good DVD. Starring Boris Karloff, Zita Johann. Universal, $26.98, 7/8/2008.
