- 21. Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire: Special Edition (2005)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The best of the series, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the first one to make me interested to see what happens next. It’s still too long and meanders a bit too much, but it offers better focus and greater drama. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson. Warner, $30.98, 3/7/2006.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: David Cronenberg takes on Hollywood excess in the inconsistent Maps to the Stars. While intermittently interesting, the movie as a whole fails to gel. Starring Julianne Moore, Mia Wasakowska. Universal, $14.98, 4/4/2015.

- 25. Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince [4K UHD] (2009)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though I initially found Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to be a weak entry in the series, a second viewing better revealed its charms. While the movie suffers from some issues that stem from its place in the chronology, it still manages to create fairly good drama. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson. Warner, $41.99, 3/28/2017.

- 26. Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince: Ultimate Edition [Blu-Ray] (2009)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Since the original Blu-ray looked and sounded great, the Ultimate Edition doesn’t improve on it in that department, but it adds a few nice bonus materials. It’s pricey but it’s a quality release that will please serious Potter fans. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson. Warner, $49.99, 6/14/2011.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One might hope to get a fresh new spin on a famous myth via The Legend of Hercules, but one won’t find anything memorable here. Instead, the movie gives us a lot of over the top spectacle with little substance or real excitement. Starring Kellan Lutz, Gaia Weiss. Lionsgate, $22.99, 9/19/2017.

- 29. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets [4K UHD] (2002)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets provides a small improvement over its predecessor, though both remain too long and somewhat lacking in true magic. Chamber offers a little fun and charm but it seems to try too hard to entertain us at times, and it rarely just lets the material breathe on its own. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson. Warner,

- 30. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: Ultimate Edition (2002)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As for the DVD, both picture and sound quality seemed very solid. Neither reached demonstration level, but both satisfied nicely. Supplements offered a decent mix of interesting elements. I suspect that most fans will be happy with the prior DVD of Chamber, but Potter die-hards will want to snag the “Ultimate Edition”. At $39.92, it’s not horribly pricey
