21. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With 2009’s Revenge of the Fallen, the second Transformers film offers an experience much like that of its predecessor. That’s great if you liked the 2007 flick but not so good if – like me – you didn’t care for it. Starring Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox. Paramount, $22.98, 10/20/2009.

22. Man Down [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With an ambitious, non-linear narrative, Man Down delivers an unusual view of its subject matter. Parts of it work well, but the movie doesn’t quite come together in the end to create a coherent experience. Starring Shia LaBeouf, Gary Oldman. Lionsgate, $24.99, 3/7/2017.

23. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull [4K UHD] (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull provides an amiable and occasionally exciting affair, but it’s not one that matches up particularly well with its three predecessors. Though it shows periodic signs of life, it doesn’t maintain them strongly enough to become better than 'pretty good'. Starring Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf. Paramount,

24. American Honey [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Sluggish and rambling, American Honey lacks much narrative momentum. I mind its absence of tight narrative less than I object to its inability to present interesting characters or situations. Starring Sasha Lane, Shia LaBeouf. Lionsgate, $24.99, 12/27/2016.

25. Holes (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A real sleeper, Holes came out of nowhere and made a moderate mark on audiences. It deserved to do well, as the movie presents a fairly charming and creative family flick. The DVD offers excellent picture and sound plus a better than average set of supplements. This one works for kids and adults and comes with my recommendation. Novel and screenplay by L

27. Constantine: Deluxe Edition (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Like many, I’d never heard of the Constantine character until this movie hit screens. I don’t know how the film compares with the comics on which it’s based, but the flick provides a pretty entertaining and intriguing experience on its own ... I recommend Constantine to those with a taste for dark comic book fare. Starring Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz. Fox

28. Transformers Limited Edition Steelbook 6-Movie Collection [4K UHD] (2007-2018)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With a new movie about to hit screens, fans can re-examine the prior Transformers flicks via this Limited Edition Steelbook 6-Movie Collection. I admit the series fails to work for me, but obviously many like these films. Starring Shia LaBeouf, Mark Wahlberg. Paramount, $153.99, 5/30/2023.

29. Surf's Up 2: WaveMania (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Why did it take 10 years for a sequel to Surf’s Up to arrive? I have no idea, but the bland and forgettable Surf’s Up 2: WaveMania isn’t worth the wait. Starring John Cena, Undertaker. Sony, $19.99, 1/17/2017.

30. Bobby (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For the definition of the term “missed opportunity”, we can look at Bobby. A rambling, pointless waste of time, it totally discards all its potential to become a disjointed piece of indulgent nonsense ... While I can’t really complain about this disc, the movie itself doesn’t warrant your attention. Starring Demi Moore, Anthony Hopkins. Weinstein Company
