51. Ghostbusters II [Blu-Ray] (1989)
"Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If I could view Ghostbusters II in isolation, I’d probably like it more than I do. Unfortunately, I can’t help but compare it to the original I

52. Alien Quadrilogy: Bonus Disc (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I remain highly impressed with The Alien Quadrilogy. It helps that this set offers my all-time favorite movie series. To get all four films presented with best-ever picture and sound, alternate versions plus the theatrical releases, and many, many hours of extras literally is a dream come true; even just a few years ago, I never would have imagined that

53. Vamps [Blu-Ray] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With a nice cast involved, I hoped Vamps would overcome the tired nature of its vampire-centered story. Unfortunately, it couldn’t do so; the movie lacks focus and becomes only intermittently enjoyable. The Blu-ray provides decent picture and audio but lacks any supplements. If you’re a big fan of vampire films and/or the castmembers, you might give this

54. James Cameron's Story of Science Fiction [Blu-Ray] (2018)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Thanks to a huge roster of noteworthy participants, James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction offers an entertaining look at the subject matter. Unfortunately, it rushes through each topic so quickly that it can feel superficial. Starring James Cameron, Steven Spielberg. AMC, $34.97, 7/28/2020.

55. Ghostbusters: Afterlife [Blu-Ray] (2021)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A mix of reboot and sequel, Ghostbusters: Afterlife offers reasonable charms. However, the movie tries too hard to pay homage to he original films and does not form its own identity as well as it should. Starring Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard. Sony, $34.99, 2/1/2022.

56. The Village (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Hopefully director M. Night Shyamalan will rebound with his fifth film. Unfortunately, his fourth, 2004’s The Village, stands as his worst effort. The movie lacks a coherent feel and relies too much on its twists to satisfy the audience. Starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Joaquin Phoenix. Buena Vista, $29.99, 1/11/2005.

58. Futurama: Volume 4 (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Sadly, Volume Four marks the end of Futurama. At least the series went out in a positive manner with arguably its strongest set of episodes. Created by Matt Groening. Fox, $49.98, 8/24/2004.

60. Annie Hall [Blu-Ray] (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 35 years, Annie Hall remains arguably Woody Allen’s finest achievement. I might prefer a couple of other films, but it’s still a strong enterprise with few flaws. The Blu-ray provides good picture and acceptable audio but skimps of supplements. I wish Allen would open up to bonus materials, but I don’t blame the Blu-ray’s producers for this issue.
