101. Nostradamus 2012 (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Do people really take the ramblings of a 16th century “seer” seriously? Apparently, as Nostradamus 2012 views its subject without the slightest hint of skepticism or scrutiny. That means it provides some intriguing thoughts but lacks the depth to become anything more than an idle curiosity. A&E, $19.98, 6/30/2009.

102. Adventures In Babysitting: 25th Anniversary Edition [Blu-Ray] (1987)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I've had easier recommendations to make, but not many. Adventures In Babysitting offers a dull, witless film that might have some nostalgia value but that’s about it. The Blu-ray provides very good picture and perfectly competent audio but lacks supplements. This is a pretty awful movie, but at least the Blu-ray makes it look and sound better than ever.

103. Men In Black II: Superbit (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The original DVD seemed good, but the Superbit nicely tightened up the visuals.

104. Lockout [Blu-Ray] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Don’t expect Lockout to deliver an original sci-fi action experience, but if you can get past its derivative nature, you’ll probably have fun with it. Though it seems pretty brain-dead, it gives us enough excitement to make it enjoyable. The Blu-ray boasts excellent picture and audio along with a couple of decent featurettes. Genre fans will probably lik

105. The Magnificent Seven [4K UHD] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When filmmakers remake classics, they need to hurdle a high bar, and the 2016 version of The Magnificent Seven can’t reach the necessary heights. While well-cast and perfectly serviceable, it never turns into anything particularly dynamic. Starring Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt. Sony, $30.99, 12/20/2016.

106. Parkland [Blu-ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At its heart, Parkland goes over a fascinating tale. However, it does so in such a rushed, superficial way that it fails to provide a satisfying exploration. Starring Paul Giamatti, Billy Bob Thornton. Millennium Entertainment, $19.99, 11/5/2013.

107. Heat (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Heat really tries to posit the balances we have to make between our hearts and our heads, and how we deal with that. It's not the most exhaustive study you could want to see, but it's a surprise from this kind of a film, and it's very effective. Starring Al Pacino, Robert De Niro. Warner, $19.98, 7/27/1999.

108. The Martian [Blu-Ray 3D] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At its heart, The Martian offers a lively tale of survival amidst difficult odds. I wish the film provided more meaning and depth, but I still think it gives us an entertaining adventure. Starring Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain. Fox, $49.99, 1/12/2016.

109. Rings [Blu-Ray] (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After more than a decade, the Ring horror franchise returns with a thud. Rings shows a glimmer of potential but it fails to exploit its positive possibilities. Starring Johnny Galecki, Matilda Lutz. Paramount, $39.99, 5/2/2017.

110. The Eyes of Tammy Faye [Blu-Ray] (2021)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A muddled attempt to rehabilitate a notorious televangelist, The Eyes of Tammy Faye lacks depth and impact. Even with a good cast, this becomes a superficial and surprisingly dull look at its subject. Starring Jessica Chastain, Andrew Garfield. Fox, $29.99, 11/14/2021.
