61. Dementia 13 [Blu-ray] (1963)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One of Francis Ford Coppola’s earliest films, Dementia 13 deserves attention as a historical curiosity. However, it doesn’t actually work as a movie, for it seems silly and without suspense. Starring William Campbell, Luana Anders. Lionsgate, $17.99, 9/21/2021.

62. Von Ryan's Express: Frank Sinatra Film Collection (1965)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: We’ve gotten plenty of “escape movies” over the years, but few work as well as Von Ryan’s Express. It creates a strong mix of action, drama and a little comedy to provide a lively adventure. The DVD comes with erratic visuals, fairly good audio and nearly non-existent supplements. I’m not wild about the quality of this release, but the movie itself is a

63. The Mothman Prophecies (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: ...it simply seems bland and lifeless, as the story bumbles along without much point.

64. Papillon [Blu-Ray] (1973)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though Papillon provides a good film, it’s not one that I find tremendously involving. The movie seems a little too clinical and objective; while I usually like those tendencies, in this case, they leave me a bit distant from the characters and story. The Blu-ray delivers erratic but acceptable to good picture and audio along with a few minor supplements

65. Halloween Kills [4K UHD] (2021)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After a successful sequel/reboot in 2018, 2021 brought more of the same with Halloween Kills. Though better than average for the genre, Kills never becomes especially memorable. Starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer. Universal, $44.98, 1/11/2022.

66. Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation [Blu-Ray] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After a lackluster fourth film, the Mission: Impossible franchise bounces back with the exciting Rogue Nation. The movie boasts many fun action scenes as well as a lot of intrigue along the way. Starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner. Paramount, $39.99, 12/15/2015.

67. Reno 911!: Miami - Unrated (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I wanted to like Reno 911!: Miami and I expected to like it, but I didn’t. Monotonous, moronic and mostly unfunny, the movie fails to show the series’ strong points and suffers only from its weaknesses ... Though I didn’t care for the movie, I’d have to recommend this disc to Reno 911! fans just for the supplements; they’re so entertaining that they over

68. Planet Of The Apes (1968)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Ultimately I found Planet of the Apes to offer a compelling and satisfying little science fiction experience. The film's not perfect, but it seems clever and well executed. Starring Charlton Heston, Roddy McDowall. Fox, $29.95, 8/15/2000.

69. Lee Daniels' The Butler [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Well-intended but erratic, Lee Daniels’ The Butler turns into an awkward history lesson. At its core, it boasts a potentially fascinating tale, but it veers too much from reality and ends up as little more than a “greatest hits” reel of political events from the 1950s to 1970s. The Blu-ray offers solid picture and audio along with a handful of decent bon

70. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire [Blu-Ray] (2024)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Two films into the Ghostbusters reboot/sequel series and Frozen Empire offers a disjointed affair. Too reliant on nostalgia and not especially fresh, the movie gives us occasional entertainment but it disappoints in the end. Starring Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon. Sony, $34.99, 6/25/2024.
