41. Manhattan [Blu-Ray] (1979)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Frankly, I didn't think much of Manhattan. It remained largely watchable and mildly entertaining, but it seemed shallow and lacked characters or events that would interest me. TheBlu-ray delivers very good visuals and acceptable audio but lacks supplements. I’m not wild about Manhattan but feel sure that its fans will be pleased by its presentation here.

42. To Rome With Love [Blu-Ray] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After the late-career success of Midnight in Paris, Woody Allen falls back to earth with the mediocre To Rome With Love. While the flick has some potential, it’s too thin and underdone to succeed. Starring Woody Allen, Alec Baldwin. Sony, $19.99, 1/15/2013.

43. Mighty Aphrodite (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The movie itself had some potential, but it became bogged down in annoying characterizations and gimmicky techniques.

44. You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Unlike high-quality character explorations such as Crimes and Misdemeanors, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger has little to say. It paints a simplistic picture that doesn’t go much of anywhere, so it fails to develop in a satisfying way. The Blu-ray provides decent picture and audio but lacks substantial supplements. While I’ve seen worse Woody Allen mo

45. Toy Story [Blu-Ray] (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Toy Story is a “must-own” title. An innovative achievement in animation, the film remains a ton of fun. After 15 years, the movie continues to be delightful, witty and exceedingly entertaining. The Blu-ray itself provides terrific picture and sound plus a fine roster of extras. All animation fans need to pick up this excellent Blu-ray; even those who alr

46. Toy Story: 10th Anniversary Edition (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you don’t own an earlier incarnation of Toy Story on DVD, I strongly recommend that you snag this 10th Anniversary release. In addition, if you have the old “movie-only” package, you might want to upgrade here to check out the informative supplements ... For those who already have the “Ultimate Toy Box”, though, I think there’s very little reason to p

50. Irrational Man [Blu-Ray] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While Woody Allen still produces the occasional winner, a lot of his 21st century movies flop, and Irrational Man becomes one of his less successful efforts. It doesn’t sink to the depths of his worst work, but it comes with too many flaws to be worthwhile. Starring Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone. Sony, $34.99, 1/12/2016.
