31. Avengers: Infinity War [Blu-Ray] (2018)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With an enormous cast of characters, Avengers: Infinity War provides a truly epic adventure. While it offers excitement, it needs to satisfy so many roles that it can seem superficial, and its existence as the first of a two-part series makes it feel incomplete. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt. Disney, $39.99, 8/14/2018.

32. Star Trek Into Darkness [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not as good as its immediate predecessor, Star Trek Into Darkness provides an enjoyable adventure. It comes with a few questionable choices but packs enough action and fun to make it a winner. The Blu-ray boasts superb picture and audio along with a decent set of supplements. I’m disappointed that we get so few extras – especially after the packed

33. Avatar [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While Avatar doesn’t do a ton for me as a movie, I do enjoy it and think it’s become a “must-see” flick. The Blu-ray is a good way to check it out, though I’d recommend that established fans wait for the loaded SE due in late 2010. This is a nice representation of the movie itself, but I expect the SE will be a stunner and believe it’ll be worth the wait

36. James Cameron's Story of Science Fiction [Blu-Ray] (2018)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Thanks to a huge roster of noteworthy participants, James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction offers an entertaining look at the subject matter. Unfortunately, it rushes through each topic so quickly that it can feel superficial. Starring James Cameron, Steven Spielberg. AMC, $34.97, 7/28/2020.

37. Vantage Point: Special Edition (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I wanted to like Vantage Point, but the film’s excessive reliance on plot twists and gimmicks renders it impotent. The movie blows its potential and ends up as a barely coherent collection of flashbacks that bores more than it excites ... I’d like to recommend Point but can’t find enough substance in it to do so. Starring Dennis Quaid, Matthew Fox. Sony,
