2. Your Host, Walt Disney: TV Memories (1956-1965)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Not all of Your Host Walt Disney entertains, as some of the episodes feel like little more than generic promotional reels. However, there remains more than enough cool historical content to make the package worthwhile for fans ... I don’t think Your Host will do a ton for the casual Disney fan, but more ardent partisans will enjoy it. Starring Walt Disne

3. Behind the Scenes at the Walt Disney Studios: Walt Disney Treasures (1941)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I don’t know how much interest Behind the Scenes will hold for casual Disney fans, but more heavily involved parties should definitely enjoy it.

4. Disneyland Secrets, Stories, And Magic (Walt Disney Treasures) (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Sometimes a DVD provides great extras and a mediocre main program. That occurs with Disneyland Secrets, Stories and Magic. The titular documentary is fluffy and frustrating, with average picture and audio quality. However, we get lots of fine supplements here, as we discover loads of fascinating archival elements. Those make this a worthwhile collection

6. Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs [Blu-Ray] (1937)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Snow White remains a landmark film – and a good piece of entertainment. Without question, the Blu-ray offers the strongest presentation the film has ever enjoyed on home video. I definitely recommend it to all animation fans, though I remain disappointed that it doesn’t totally replace the 2001 DVD. If you own that release, you’ll want to keep it in your

7. Walt Disney Treasures: Disney Rarities - Celebrated Shorts (1920s - 1960s)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One of the studio’s odder compilations, Disney Rarities spans a broad range of eras and styles. There’s little to unify them, so expect a lot of highs and lows. Plenty of good material appears, but the presentation isn’t up to snuff when compared to other Disney packages. Disney, $32.99, 12/6/2005.

The DVD presents excellent picture and sound along with that moderately disappointing but still extensive set of supplements. Disney have produced another “must-have” DVD with this fine release of The Lion King. Disney, $29.99, 10/7/2003.

10. Pocahontas: 10th Anniversary Edition (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I enjoy Pocahontas and think it's a rather underrated Disney feature, though still not one of their best pictures. This DVD vastly improves over its predecessor, as it offers mostly solid picture with positive audio and a quality roster of extras. This is a fine DVD that should make fans happy. Starring Irene Bedard, Mel Gibson. Disney, $29.99, 5/3/2005.
