11. Roots [Blu-Ray] (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: We’ll likely never see a TV phenomenon like Roots again. The show took the country by storm and remains the mini-series against which all others must be compared. Starring LeVar Burton, John Amos. Warner, $44.98, 6/7/2016.

12. Casablanca: 70th Anniversary Limited Collector's Edition [Blu-Ray] (1942)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: So what’s a Casablanca fan to do? Probably wait and hope that WB puts out this set’s first disc on its own in the not-too-distant future. While I like the documentaries on Disc Two as well as the book and poster, they’re just not worth the package’s nearly $65 list price. If you don’t care about the cost, the 70th Anniversary release will make you happy,

13. The Wizard Of Oz [Blu-Ray] (1939)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With a list price of almost $85, the Oz Blu-ray doesn’t come cheap. I think big-time fans of the film will want to shell out for it, but those with less intense interest may want to wait for the inevitable Less Super-Duper Edition. If you’re willing to drop some serious coin, though, I think you’ll be happy with this package. Starring Judy Garland. Warne

15. Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project (Collector's Edition) (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One of the few remaining links to the glory days of Las Vegas, Don Rickles is still going strong in his eighties. We get a fond and entertaining look at the comedian in Mr. Warmth, a somewhat inconsistent but usually enjoyable documentary ... This isn’t a great DVD by technical standards, but it’s a good program that earns my recommendation. Starring Don

16. An American In Paris [Blu-Ray] (1951)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Clearly An American In Paris will offer more appeal to fans of musicals than it does for me, but I still think it’s a fairly ordinary piece. It rests its legacy on one long and creative dance number, but other than that sequence, a clever opening, and Gene Kelly, the movie does little to differentiate itself from a slew of other musicals. The Blu-ray pro

17. The Aristocrats (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Aristocrats provides an interesting look behind the curtain to demonstrate the workings of comedians as it brings a hidden element to the public. The multiple renditions of the titular joke offer some hits and some misses, but it’s always cool to see all the variations. Directed by Paul Provenza. Velocity Home Entertainment, $29.99, 1/24/2006.

18. An American In Paris: Special Edition (1951)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I don’t think much of Paris, I find a lot to like about this solid Special Edition package. Fans of the movie will want to get it, and that includes those who already own the original movie-only release. The 2008 SE provides a substantial upgrade and is the way to go for Paris buffs. Starring Gene Kelly, Leslie Caron. Warner, $20.97, 9/16/2009.

19. Casablanca: Ultimate Collector's Edition (1942)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Casablanca is obviously a film that belongs in the collection of every serious movie fan, but do they need this “Ultimate Collector’s Edition”? No. Only the flick’s biggest devotees will likely get their money’s worth out of it. It retails for almost $40 more than the two-disc Special Edition; while some of the added components are nice, they’re not wort
