21. Speed [Blu-Ray] (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: 28 years after its release, Speed remains a terrific thrill ride. It may not be the absolute best of its genre, but it’s quite close to the top, and it provides a fun and exciting experience. Starring Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock. Fox, $16.99, 11/14/2006.

26. True Grit (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I can't honestly say that I disliked True Grit, for it's a competently made film. However, I didn't think much of it; it seemed to be a pretty generic Western that never did anything to endear itself to me. I thought it offered a mildly interesting experience but not anything special. Starring John Wayne, Glen Campbell. Paramount, $9.98, 3/21/2000.

27. Waterworld [Blu-Ray] (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Does Waterworld deserve its status as an infamous flop? No, but it also shouldn’t be viewed as an unjustly maligned classic, as it offers a mix of thrills and idiocy. Starring Kevin Costner, Jeanne Tripplehorn. Universal, $19.98, 10/20/2009.

28. True Grit [Blu-Ray] (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: True Grit provides a fairly ordinary Western experience from John Wayne's final years as an actor. It offers only a mildly entertaining adventure, as it suffers from a hokiness that harms it. The Blu-ray gives us pretty good picture, acceptable audio, and a decent roster of supplements. I don’t think a lot of the movie, but the Blu-ray brings it home in

29. True Grit: Special Collector's Edition (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: (I) can’t recommend this version of True Grit. Granted, since I don’t think a lot of the movie, I wouldn’t give it much of an endorsement anyway, but the ugly visuals mean that I wouldn’t recommend this disc even to big fans ... If you love Grit, stay with the flawed but superior transfer of the old DVD. Starring John Wayne, Glen Campbell. Paramount, $19
