21. Godzilla [4K UHD] (1998)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite all of the criticisms leveled toward it, I continue to enjoy Godzilla. Yeah, it presents some weak characters/performances and occasionally approaches a level of incoherence, but the many wild action scenes compensate for these flaws. Starring Matthew Broderick, Jean Reno. Sony, $19.95, 5/14/2019.

22. Mystery Men (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a spoof of superhero flicks, Mystery Men offers passable entertainment. Parts of it amuse but it runs too long and loses energy as it goes. Starring Ben Stiller, Greg Kinnear. Universal, $9.98, 1/11/2000.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite all of the criticisms leveled toward it, I continue to enjoy Godzilla. Yeah, it presents some weak characters/performances and occasionally approaches a level of incoherence, but the many wild action scenes compensate for these flaws. The Blu-ray offers decent picture along with excellent sound and a smattering of unexceptional extras. This isn’t

24. The Aristocrats (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Aristocrats provides an interesting look behind the curtain to demonstrate the workings of comedians as it brings a hidden element to the public. The multiple renditions of the titular joke offer some hits and some misses, but it’s always cool to see all the variations. Directed by Paul Provenza. Velocity Home Entertainment, $29.99, 1/24/2006.

25. The Simpsons: The Complete Twelfth Season (2000)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Maybe The Simpsons will eventually provide a truly bad set of episodes, but Season 12 doesn’t demonstrate anything that I would say really besmirches the series’ legacy. That said, the shows do little to add to the Simpsons legend; we get a few above-average episodes, but the majority seem awfully ordinary. The DVDs provide erratic but acceptable visuals

26. The Simpsons: The Complete First Season (1990)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson Title: The Simpsons: The Complete First Season (1990) Studio Line: 20th Century Fox What we have here are thirteen crudely animated episodes, first aired in 1989 and 1990, all spiffed up, cleaned off, and augmented with...

27. The Simpsons: The Complete Seventh Season (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Eventually we’ll see the decline of The Simpsons, but they downturn doesn’t occur in Season Seven. While I wouldn’t credit this year as the series’ best, it offers many more hits than misses ... I’ve recommended every prior set, so I don’t plan to stop now: Season Seven of The Simpsons would make a fine addition to your DVD collection. Created by Matt Gr

29. Run, Fatboy, Run (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not a bad film, Run Fatboy Run gives us an awfully unexceptional one. The film occasionally threatens to entertain, but it usually just meanders along and never quite engages us ... I can’t recommend this forgettable flick. Starring Simon Pegg, Thandie Newton. Warner, $27.95, 9/23/2008.

30. Year One [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One of summer 2009’s biggest busts, I’d like to report that Year One offers a neglected gem. Unfortunately, it wastes a lot of talent and provides precious few laughs. The Blu-ray provides excellent visuals as well as acceptably good audio and supplements. I have no complaints about this release, but the movie itself is an unfunny mess. Starring Jack Bla
