1. My Name Is Earl: Season Two (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: My Name Is Earl emerged as a hit in 2005-06, and it continued to entertain in its second season. I don’t think the series’ quality dips at all. No, not all of the episodes soar, but there’s more than enough good comedy to keep us entertained ... This is a nice release for a fun show. Starring Jason Lee, Ethan Suplee. Fox, $49.98, 9/25/2007.

2. My Name Is Earl: Season One (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One of the 2005-06 season’s hits, My Name Is Earl brings a quirky presence to network TV. The series balances offbeat humor and heart to create an amusing and likable experience. Starring Jason Lee, Ethan Suplee. Fox, $49.98, 9/19/2006.

3. Not Another Teen Movie (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not the worst spoof I’ve seen, it generally seems forced and without inspiration.

4. Not Another Teen Movie: Unrated (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I didn’t recommend the theatrical DVD to anyone who didn’t already like Teen, so I certainly won’t advise them to buy the Director’s Cut. I also definitely think fans should stick with the original DVD. There’s almost nothing new about this disc and it loses significant materials from the prior release. The 2002 DVD is definitely still the best one on th

5. I Love You, Man [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite the tapped out nature of this kind of guy-based comedy, I Love You, Man keeps us interested. The movie doesn’t reinvent any wheels, but it boasts a nice cast and proves to be amusing and enjoyable. The Blu-ray offers very good picture, acceptable audio and a nice collection of supplements. This is a nice release for an entertaining film. Starring

6. Torque (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A movie so dumb it makes The Fast and the Furious look brilliant, Torque offers occasional cartoon thrills but nothing else. With plastic characters, silly situations and flashy visuals, it doesn’t offer any substance and seems totally obsessed with looks and style. Starring Ice Cube, Martin Henderson. Warner, $27.95, 5/18/2004.

9. Horton Hears A Who!: Special Edition (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After a few crummy Dr. Seuss adaptations, I had low expectations for 2008’s Horton Hears a Who!. Happily, the flick proved to be pretty entertaining. It remained reasonably true to its source and provided a nice piece of entertainment. The Blu-ray offered excellent picture and very good audio along with a mix of fairly interesting extras.
